Grapes are fantastic for tired skin

They also contain tannin, a natural whitener, which allows even a tired complexion to shine again. Grape seed oil contains beauty potential: the essential fatty acids are fantastic for connective tissue, since they purify and stimulate the metabolism.

Stinging nettles for the hair

Brew a very strong tea from stinging nettle leaves and massage it into the damp hair. After 15 minutes of contact time the ingredients of the stinging nettle will stimulate the blood circulation of the scalp. Works against dandruff and loss of hair.

Beautifying vitamins

Beautiful skin needs a bit more than “just” care. To do something good for body and beauty you can also take care from within: with vitamins. Vitamin C ensures firm and fresh skin and can be found in kiwis, apples, broccoli, curly kale, parsley, peppers, sprouts and potatoes. Vitamin E is a further natural cosmetic. It can neutralize free radicals, which contribute to the ageing process. You find the healthy vitamin in sunflower seeds, cold-pressed oils, almonds, wheat germs, avocados and in green vegetables (peas, beans, etc.). Provitamin A on the other hand works like a sun-blocker from within and is also an “enemy” to free radicals. For feasting on vitamin A, you should put mangos, peaches, curly kale, pumpkin, field salad, wheat germ, savoy cabbage and carrots in your diet. Drink two to three liters of fluids per day (best is mineral water or unsweetened tea) and nothing will stand in the way of beauty from within.
